Do you need a master ball to catch Arceus?

no enny Pokemon can be caught without a mb now it depends on what game arceus nows recover so all u have to do is hit him hit him again arceus will use recover hit it again again recover and use a timer ball its like a master ball its catch rate is infinity it can go on and on after 20 rounds use it but if u have more than 1 i would see if it would work after 10 or 15 rounds

but if u want to catch arceus with a poke ball then u need a Pokemon that knows hypnosis and dream eater note i don't remember its lv in those games so save then battle it and kill it turn off turn on then put your haunter or gengar or what ever what Pokemon that knows hypnosis or sleep powder in front of all your Pokemon first now hypnosis arceus and start hitting him to the red and start throwing poke balls that arent going to work so don't try it
