i don't really know but this is my favourite team that i have: Deoxys, shiny (best moves:zap cannon, shadow ball) Deoxys, shiny (no really great moves) Mew, shiny (best moves: flamethrower, thunderbolt, fly) Mewtwo, shiny (best moves: psychic, flamethrower, thunderbolt) Mewtwo, normal (best moves: psyichic, charge beam) Kyogre, normal (best moves: sheer cold, blizzard, surf, hydro pump) hope i helped :-)

mewtwo is a very powerful pokemon, especially when it knows a plethora of different typed moves such as: thunder bolt, poison jab, psychic, and shadow ball. those are the moves that my mewtwo knows, and it has never fainted.
Why do you need Mewtwo in FireRed?
Mewtwo is good for beating the elite four (2nd turn), since it can learn moves like Flamethrower, Thunderbolt, Ghost Ball, Phsycic. All these moves are good since they're all special attacks and Mewtwo is one of the best Pokemon in sp.atk. These moves are also super effective versus almost everyone in the elite four and this enables you to beat the elite four fairly easy the 2nd time.
