The handiness class can be taken at the Millitary, which can be found in all sims 3 towns.
Its not for either, its a Sims game all in itself
You have start at the top of the town and you have a waterfall, then a pond, goes to a river, to a smaller pond, down a river and into the ocean.* So like 5 places. *That is what most towns have, but not all.
The only other official one right now for Sims 3 besides Sunset Valley and those that come with Expansion Packs is Riverview. To get it just go to thesims3.com, it's free. However, with new EPs (Expansion Packs) it is possible to get new towns. A few, such as Seasons, don't come with new towns but pretty much all the others do. If you don't want to spend more money on them you are able to get worlds from the Exchange that were made by other players. If you want to make your own worlds, you can download the Create A World from the Sims 3 website.
Nope. You just need all the Sims 2 discs. So to answer your question, no, the sims 1 is not required in order to play the Sims 2.

Once you have deleted the towns unfortunatley you cannot get them back, unless your computer has a virus or refreshes its memory. Mine refreshed its memory automatically and I have all the towns.
The same way you do in all the other towns, have two Sims relax on a bed and select "try for baby".
no, I'm pretty sure that in all forms of Sims 3 you are confined to a single town except in international in which you can go to several different towns.
Here are all the current towns for the game and it's expansions:Towns:Sunset Valley - Comes with the base game.Riverview - Downloadable for free through Sims 3 storeTwinbrook - Comes with the Ambitions expansion pack.Barnacle Bay - Available for download through the Sims 3 store.Bridgeport - Comes with the upcoming Late Night expansion pack.Vacation Towns:Al Simhara, Egypt - Comes with the World Adventures expansion pack.Shang Sim La, China - Comes with the World Adventures expansion pack.Champs les Sims, France - Comes with the World Adventures expansion pack.Future expansions and DLC will add more towns with different themes and more content that fits what the expansion's theme is, so I recommend getting all of the expanions for new towns and things to do, the stuff-packs for more things to buy and the DLC for even more towns and things to do.
you can exit the household and go into neighborhood view, then load the household again. or you could always restart your game. try checking if your computer meets all of the sims 2 system requirements.
