Well, they don't really talk. They competed in "Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games" but that was just for fun. They really don't interact at all, they see each other in games now and then but they've never talked. It's more of a Sega vs. Nintendo thing but there is nothing personal between Sonic and Mario.
