because shisui was spying on itachi for the uchiha clan because the uchiha clan new that itachi was working with the leaf to try to overthrow the uchiha clan plus to get the mongekyou sharingan (you must kill your closest friend to obtain the mongekyou sharingan)

Itachi n'a pas tuer shisui, shisui c'est suicidé pour ses idéaux notamment vouloir renouer les liens entre le clan uchiwa et le village mais il c'est également donné la mort car il savait que ces pupilles était un trésor trop precieux

Deidera killed himself using an explosive C2 clay jutsu in an attempt to kill Saskue Uchiha. His obsession with his "art" (C2 clay jutsu) was his own demise. As he was fighting, Saskue mocked Deidera saying the continous fight was useless because saskue would win any way. Out of anger Deidera took his strongest clay jutsu and blew up the entire area where the fight was held blowing himself up in the process but saskue escaped using a jutsu which quickly warped him out of the area, continuing on his quest which started the fight. He was searching for the murderer of his clan, his brother Itachi Uchiha. They would soon fight to the death and in the end Itachi would die as part of Itachi's master plan to ptotect Saskue. Yes Itachi is stronger than Orochimaru.When trying to take over Itachi's body, Orochimaru got his arm cut off and that led to his defection from Akatsuki. In the anime Orochimaru himself states in his layer that Itachi is stornger than him.
