Lord Voldemort didn't kill Snape he ordered his snake to. He did this because he believed that Snape was the master of the Elder Wand since Snape had killed Albus Dumbledore. By overcoming Snape, Voldemort believed that the alligence of the wand would come to him.
However, Draco Malfoy was the owner of the Elder Wand as he had disarmed Dumbledore before his death. Harry then became the owner because he stole Draco's wand from him.
Tom Riddle put lethal poison in Hepzibah Smith's evening soup and magically changed Hokey (Smith's House-elf)'s memory into thinking that she had put the poison in by accident.

There is only one distant heir for Helga Hufflepuff that is mentioned in the books. Hepzibah Smith is a descendant- just like Tom Riddle (Voldemort) is a descendant of Salazar Slytherin- but there is never any mention of Hufflepuff's children like with Rowena Ravenclaw (who is mother to Helena Ravenclaw, whose ghost is known as The Grey Lady).
The prophecy that Sybill Trelawney made stated this: "One must die at the hand of the other for neither can live while the other survives" This prophecy refers earlier to Voldemort and Harry OR Neville - however Voldemort didn't realise at the time that it could have been either child and only thought it was referring to Harry. Thus the war began. So the section of the prophecy above is basically saying that only one of them can live in the end and whoever dies must be killed by the other. ie Harry must kill Voldemort or Voldemort must kill Harry. So therefore, since Voldemort isn't planning on dying, he must kill Harry himself as the prophecy states it.
Hogwarts was the only place Tom Riddle (Voldemort) had ever felt truly at home, and shortly after arriving there, he became obsessed with his heritage. Dumbledore showed Harry a memory of Tom visiting Hepzibah Smith, who showed him two of the later horcruxes, one of Ravenclaw's (the diadem), and one of Hufflepuff's (the cup), which he later killed Miss Smith just for these two items. Harry and Dumbledore were able to deduce that Voldemort would look for other important objects relating to his heritage.
Helga Hufflepuff's cup was owned by generations of the Hufflepuff family and was eventually passed down to Hepzibah Smith. Lord Voldemort then befriended Hepzibah Smith, poisoned her and stole the cup (along with Slytherin's locket). Voldemort then turned the cup into a Horcrux and hid it Bellatrix and Rodolphus Lestrange's vault at Gringotts.
Hepzibah Smith is a character in the Harry Potter series who was killed indirectly by Tom Marvolo Riddle, aka Lord Voldemort. She was killed because she was the owner of a valuable cup formerly belonging to the famous witch Helga Hufflepuff. The murderer had the intent of using the cup to create a Horcrux, in which he succeeded. Not really sure how this relates to Joseph Smith though? ;)
Voldemort didn't kill him, nor did anybody else.
no. he almost dies, but then pretends to be dead while Voldemort tortures him and eventually kills Voldemort.
Voldemort took Helga Huffelpuff's Cup from a descendant of hers, Hepzibah Smith, who showed the cup to him in Borgin and Burkes. She was found dead two days later, Voldemort had poisoned her and stolen the cup as well as Salazar Slytherin's locket (which he also made into a horcrux) from her home.
Hokey the house elf's master was Hepzibah Smith.
no
Horcruxes.
Yes, he does kill Lord Voldemort in the end of Deathly Hallows.
He decides to let Voldemort kill him, but all Voldemort did was kill a part of himself. Neville killed Nagini and Harry killed Voldemort with Expelliarmus
Lord Voldemort didn't actually know or care who Cedric Diggory was. Cedric ended up in the graveyard by mistake and Voldemort didn't want to leave any loose ends, so ordered Wormtail to "kill the spare".
I think it may have been Twinky or something similar to that.
