As far as I know, the tune (which seems to be an old folk polka from Poland/Czechia/Austria written towards the end of the 19th century by an unknown composer) was first released in 1938 by the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra, featuring his brother Jimmy on the clarinet it's a beautiful album which includes many super hits of the time, such as, for instance, Swanee River, but I've lost it in a hard disc crash app. 2 years ago.
