She used to get bullied in her school because girls hated the fact that she was getting famous. They used to chase her etc. It got to a point that Demi had to be home schooled

Also another reason is that She wanted to be able to help other girls (her sister`s age) to come with a strong new confidence in their skin, their size, who they are and everything about themselves. (she got bullied in the 7th grade)
