Jackslacks is a rockabilly singer and drummer originally from Long Island, NY. In high school he embraced rockabilly music while following good friend Tommy Byrnes' group BMT's and Brian Setzer's Tom Cats at a local club called Heckles and Jeckles. After relocating to San Diego, Ca, he helped form regional bands Forbidden Pigs and Hot Rod Lincoln before going solo in 2002 with smooth sliding rockabilly CD 'Rock and Roll Dinosaur' (produced by Stray Cats Lee Rocker). Staying true to his rockabilly roots while also adding elements of 1960's Americana and British Invasion, he received solid airplay for single 'Best Friend Gone Away' overseas in 2012. Jackslacks has shared the stage with hero's Carl Perkins, Jerry Lee Lewis and Chuck Berry as well as a who's who of second generation roots-rock, rockabilly and Americana bands.
