Simon has very little interaction with the littluns other than picking fruit which they cannot reach as he passes though a group of them on his way to his 'secret place' in the jungle. Essentially Simon is a loner but what contact he has with other boys tends to be with the bigguns, in particular Ralph.

Simon helps the littluns by picking fruit for them to eat and ensuring their safety while they explore the jungle. He is compassionate and caring towards the younger boys.
Simon paused on his way to his 'secret place' to pick fruit for a group of littluns, which they eagerly took from his hands. They were simply interested in obtaining fruit and once Simon had fulfilled that need for them they had no further interest in him or his plans.
The littluns in "Lord of the Flies" spend their days playing and exploring the island. They also help with tasks such as gathering fruit and tending to the littler children. However, they struggle with fear and nightmares due to the growing chaos on the island.
