The Simpsons live at 742 Evergreen Terrace (Homer, Marge, Lisa, Bart, Maggie, Santa's Little Helper and Snowball)

The Flanders live at 740 Evergreen Terrace (Ned, Tod, Rod and Maude(deceased)

The Powers live at 744 Evergreen Terrace (Ruth and her daughter Laura)

In the episode 'Two Bad Neighbours' they find out that former president Gerald Ford moved into No.741 of Evergreen Terrace. It is unknown if he still lives there but more than likely it was a joke for the one episode since he's never been seen since.

It has been suggested that other characters live on the street as well

  • Milhouse Van Outen and family
  • Chief Wiggum and Ralph
  • Apu Nahasapeemapetilon
  • Principal Skinner
  • Mrs Glick
  • Disco Stu

The only known neighbour for them is the family of Ned Flanders. Except for the episode when George Bush moves to their neighbourhood, the Flanders are the Simpsons' only neighbour.

In 'New Kid on the Block' (8th episode, 4th season) and again in 'Marge on the Lam' (6th episode, 5th season) we meet the Simpsons' other neighbours, Ruth Powers and her daughter Laura.
