well my ipod nano dosent play songs without headphones so no their is no way on its own to display music on your ipod touch. btw im only 12 so even i can figure that out.
when the music is in my computer got to itunes click on File Add Folder to library Find the correct file and click open synchronise your ipod and the music will turn up

i think the ipod classic is the best ipod to get. it has lots of storage space up to 160gb. the ipod touch only goes up to 64gb. and on the ipod classic you can have up to 200 hours of movies and you can have up to 45,000 songs and 20,000 pictures. so i would definitely get the ipod classic if i were you :)
