Well, Team 7, Naruto, Sai, Sakura, And Yamato Came To Help Fight Kakuzu And Hidan. Kakuzu, However Did Not See Naruto As A Threat, This Changed When Naruto Unveiled His Newly Developed Technique, Wind Release: Rasenshuriken. Then Kakuzu Knew That It Would Be Dangerous If It Had Hit Him. Kakuzu Had Attempted To Crush Naruto, And Did, But It Was A Shadow Clone. Kakuzu Then Was Defeated By What He Called "Kids". Then Kakashi Finished Him Off With The Lightning Cutter. So That's How Kakuzu Was Killed.

Hidan is a foul-mouthed person who is a member of Akatsuki. His partner is named Kakuzu, a very greedy person who helps Hidan. Hidan is devout in the doctrine of Janshin, a blood-thirsty god. Hidan then becomes an immortal (so he can't die) and can separate his body parts but still, he's alive. Kakuzu then helps him by stitching his body back together!!! Hidan fought Asuma and Shikamaru. Hidan killed Asuma by using a curse which makes the victim suffer the same physical injuries as the user (this is a ritual which proves Hidan's loyalty to Janshin), but Shikamaru avenged Asuma's death by buring Hidan's body by himself! REMEMBER! Hidan cannot die, but then, he can't move, see, talk and even breathe (since he was buried). He was no longer considered a living member of Akatsuki and was never found by Kakuzu because Kakatshi Hatake killed him. Plus he knows over 1,000 known jutsus. But in the manga, when Naruto and Kakashi run after Deidara, Kakashi would have been defeated if Naruto had not been able to help. He had to use to the Mangekyo sharingan, and ran out of energy.

Are the Akatsuki alive?
SPOILER ALERT: If you've read up to ch. 489, you'll see that Kabuto ressurected Nagato, Kakuzu, Deidara, Sasori, and Itachi :3 They look zombie like, but we won't know for sure until ch 490 comes out, since as I type this it hasn't come out yet. (Hidan's not there because if you remembered, Shikamaru has him trapped underground, so he's the only one missing).
