actually naruto is gone because of training but when he found out pein(nagato) killed his master jiraiya and destroying the village he thinks hes ready and strong enough that's why he came bakc to konoha to face pein in an incredible match

Naruto then defeated him because he had all his strength left while pain was not strong. Naruto's Nine tailed fox cant be counted because naruto does not control it and it runs wild.
