obviously yes, because Naruto was only able defeat pain because of the nine tailed fox. Pain defeated Naruto, but Hinata came , got herself killed and Naruto became enraged. Then the fox cam out and gave pain a hard time. pain still beat him in while naruto was in 6 tails mode. Then Naruto's 8 tails came and pain probably would not have been able to handle him. When Naruto was transformed back to himself he was healed by his father!!!! So pain was then wounded, weak and couldn't control any other paths but the deva path. Naruto then defeated him because he had all his strength left while pain was not strong. Naruto's Nine tailed fox cant be counted because naruto does not control it and it runs wild.

no sasuke was weak and madara took him but later in the manga sasuke took itachi's eyes and implanted it in him. When he was able to use his eyes, he will become much stronger than Madara. Now that he is able to do so, Sasuke can learn space time ninjutu as he can mimic it. With the strong uchiha blood , he will not face side effects like kakashi. As i watched an episode, i learned that yamato can use the technique but he wouldn't have been able to hold it. Sasuke can use amaterasu and susanoo without dealing with any effects. Madara is just a plain shell and does't have the ability to use any of the techniques.

This way sasuke should prove no match for nagato because the rinnegan is more of a legend and is rarer than mangekyou sharingan...but don't ask me about the eternal sharingan which sasuke will later posess...when we know more about EMS i will come to improve this answer... note:As the story progresses sasuke will be more and more stronger..this is based on after the "pain's invasion arc".....
