What would win wolf or pitbull?

A wolf would win most likely, unless they were alreayd badly wounded before entering the fight, but they would still probably win.

Wolves live in the wild and they only survive because they know how to hunt and kill. Their jaws are so strong it breaks bone on contact if the wolf means for that thing to be hurt.

A pitbull has extremely low chances with a wolf.

Pitbull. Cougars hate to have to do battle with an animal that can fight as well or better than it, including dogs. That's why cougars tend to tree themselves or run away after coming across some maniac human with a big stick or a dog with a fierce attitude. They only attack if the person or animal is unaware of their presence and go for the back of the neck and act like a prey animal fleeing away from them, NOT if the dog or person is not acting as a prey animal.

Since this question is obviously about some sort of fight, and despite the fact that a cougar is much larger than a pitbull, a cougar would choose to run off and end the fight right there rather than battle to the death. There are reports of this happening, especially with humans who have acted out in protection of a child or dog that was about to get mauled/eaten by a cougar: they grabbed a big stick or used their feet or fists to beat/kick the cougar and scare it off.

Thus since a pitbull is a breed of dog infamous for its ability to be an attack or a very good guard dog, it will go after and fight an animal four or more times its size (they were originally used to fight bulls and bears, animals much fiercer and with more fight than a cougar!).

No dog on earth can beat a cougar if the cougar wants to fight. They can weigh to 180 pounds, and are much stronger and faster than a dog.
