Very good question, but this is a book-series for children, so it is never discussed in any of the books.
Professor McGonagall thought that Harry Potter would be a good seeker after she watched him catch a remembrall in mid air during his first time on a broomstick. She also arranged for Harry to be allowed a broomstick, despite first years not usually being allowed to have one.
Gryffindor: Professer McGonagall Hufflepuff: Professer Sprout Ravenclaw: Professer Flitwick Slytherin: 1-6 Professer Snape 7 Professer Slughorn ( He was head of house for Slytherin in the 6th book in the few hours after Snape left the castle).
In movies 1-5 she just helps to keep the school and students in order when bad things happen, she is head of Gryffindor in Hogwarts. At the end of 6 she helps to fight and at the end of seven she helps to hide Harry then to evacuate the students before joining the fight with all the of age students which are mainly the seventh graders
In the Deathly Hallows, Severus Snape is Hogwarts headmaster. For the rest of the series it was Albus Dumbledore, and it is widely accepted that, after, Snape's death and the end of the War, Minerva McGonagall becomes headmistress in Snape's place.
No,the books don't mention it. Atleast I don't think so. He would have gone to Azkaban Prison for MURDER though wouldn't he. Harry killed people. McGonagall used the Imperius Curse on Amycus Carrow though. I would recommend this question to be asked by a Harry Potter expert.
Professor Minvera McGonagall said that.

McGonagall.
McGonagall would most likely win.
Professor McGonagall saw Harry catch Neville Longbottom's remembrall while on a broom after Draco Malfoy had thrown it during a flying lesson. McGonagall saw that he would be a highly skilled seeker and took him to the captain.
She told Wood that Harry would be an excelent seeker for the Gryffyndor Quiddich team
In what would have been Harry Potter's seventh year the headmaster was Severus Snape. It is unknown who became headmaster after that. Possibly Minerva McGongall for a few years before she retired.
Of course! She is a highly capable witch, with alot of experience and power
No. i think that she would have won, but before she could even draw her wand she was attacked. Remember what madam pomfrey said "as if one of the could have stunned her face-on by daylight"
In the third book it was failing all her exams. She went into a cupboard then came out screaming that she had seen Professor McGonagall telling her that she failed.
Dumbledore and Mcgonagall would win.
