Personally I don"t like them. They are often open ended shock-a-ramas and many have plots that are knotless threads. Even some crypto-shock occult films have such tenuous plot lines often it is not explained away how the offbeat or impossible stuff haoppens- examples include The Lake House- not strictly speaking a horror but certainly an occult film. exactly how the two-year postal time-warp happened and was maintained is never explained. I don"t think the guy was in the service ( possibly a 24-month tour is permitted in the Army) or in Jail or alternative Three- a Mental Hospital, though all are possible. Some of the plots fit in category three. Few Horror films have won oscars, except possibly for special effects. take that with a grain of salt. adjust your stay-bolts, Frankie.
Jeff beal is the composer but I don't know the name of the song... maybe it's in the credits of the movie? I found this site..it has all the names to all the songs. http://www.jeffbeal.com/Pages/FILMS%20Pages/JesseStone.html#
This is a matter of opinion. The Exorcist is definitely one of the top horror films of all time, but scary is a relative word.
Oh, dude, the pronoun phrase in "We don't like horror films" is just "We." It's like the word that's standing in for the group of people who don't like getting scared by creepy movies. So, yeah, "We" is doing all the pronoun heavy lifting in that sentence. Cool, right?
Maybe you started watching from the middle of the movie as the black guy always dies first?
bram strokers dracula (1992) and all other versions of the movie dracula, and van hesling
Horror or shock science-fiction films dealing with freaks of natural or man-made but affecting nature- problems- all taken way out of context. Examples include (Frogs) with Ray Milland, similar films dealing with plagues of snakes, and so on. Not a very popular genre.
