katniss is sleeping in a tree which catches fire. she gets away, then flaming balls fall towards her. one skids against her calf, hurting her. she lays in a pool of water, soothing her calf. she gets some water in a bottle and rests in a non burnt tree, pooring water on he calf every few minutes. 5 kids and peeta show up, ready to kill her. but she is too high up. Cato climbs up, but she is too quick a climber and gets away. glimmer trys to shoot her, but she cant. the killers camp out beneath the tree, so katniss cant get away. rue is in a tree too, it turns out, and shows katniss a tracker jacker nest. katniss begins to saw the nest. while doing that, haymitch sends her some ointment for the burn. the nest goes down, 3 tracker jackers sting her. not enough to kill her. glimmer dies, katniss takes her bow and arrows back. cato trys to kill her and peeta saves her. she blacks out.
