Taigathey are the three strongest shinobi in the ninja world.although there main purpose is to die and be replaced by there pupils. sasuke takes orochimaru's place, sakura takes lady tsunade's place ( even though she has not died yet), and naruto will of course to master jiraiya's place.however they are much stronger than the original sennin.
There are 3 sannin, I don't know exactly what it means but the 3 sannin are legendary/elite shinobi from the hidden leaf village. These shinobi are Lady Tsunade (the slug princess, granddaughter of the first hokage, and is the 5th hokage), Master Jiraiya (author of the make-out series, is the toad sage, and Naruto calls him Pery Sage), and the third is Orochimaru (became a rogue ninja and wants to use sasuke as a vessel)

Does naruto become a sannin?
No the sannin means three legendary ninja. The title was given to Jiriya Tsunadi and Orochimaru because of their legendary skills. So sannin is not a rank or organization and so naruto can't become one. Hope this helped Um... something in your answer is kinda wrong. Naruto manages to go Sage Mode. Sage means Sannin. Has naruto died yet?
Naruto has died a total of 3 times. He was near-deathduring the Sannin fight, he died when Sasuke slammed his head into the ground, and Sasuke kills him another time in that fight. Fortunately Tsunade revives him in the sannin arc, and the Kyuubi revives Naruto in the Valley of the End fight.There was something about Naruto having to die to enter sage mode, I don't know if this is true, or not, but still worth a look.

Not yet. because he is still growing and technically still a gennin, even tho he is almost on sannin level.
