They are also seen in the last episode together. finally reunited. (most likely for good.) there is no 3rd season. and no clue what happens in the manga.

Price and Yuri go on a mad rampage into Makarovs hotel to avenge the death of Soap, and when a helicopter bombs the building Yuri gets impaled on a piece of metal. After that, Price brings down Makarovs escape chopper, it crashed with Price and Makarov in it, then something similar to the MW2 ending happens, and as Makarov is about to shoot Price, Yuri appears and shoots Makarov, who responds by headshotting Yuri, and thats the last you see of him.
