Then leaves. Every one thinks he is dead until he comes back to apologize to Emily then they sent him to jail.

Toby and Emily went to the dance together and he was telling her something in the lab and Emily got freaked out and ran out and he chased after her and he tripped her in the mirrors area and she got hurt and so did he. he took her to the hospital and handed her to a nurse and left. Then the next day after school Emily saw his motorcycle crashed and Jenna crying on the front porch steps of her home. She thought that he got in a car accident but he really fake his on suicide. Toby, came back in season 1 episode 10 and he was in the back of Emily's car. He wanted to finish telling Emily what he started telling her in the lab, about Jenna and how she was in love with him and how he ended with her the day Ali was killed but remember Ali didn't die Courtney did Ali's twin that had a mental problem, and always pretended to be Ali. but he came back and was telling her what happened and after he Emily what happened he said he would be by a Church and to meet him if she could but before 12. well she called the police and he was taken to jail by a Church.
In the book series of Pretty Little Liars, Toby commits suicide. In the television series, Toby is only accused to killing Alison DiLaurentis.
