Before answering this directly, it is important to point out that the final episode of the a-team (episode 13 from season 5) was not how the lives of the characters were meant to conclude, as the show had been cancelled following a drop in ratings. Season 5 saw the team finally captured by the military and sentenced to death after being found guilty of treason and murder at trial. However, after escaping the firing squad, the guys were given a "reprieve" - if they completed a host of "suicide" missions on behalf of the government, they would be given an official pardon.
Episode 13 from season 5 saw the guys on "vacation" from their missions - but caught up in a botched attempt by local mobsters to whack a DA at the restaurant where Murdock works as a waiter (he had earlier been declared sane and released from the nut-house). Face was shot during a struggle with one of the mobsters, but Hannibal, as always, came up with a plan to rescue him and foil the hit.
The problem with this is that the epsiode ended like any other regular episode (an argument between BA and HM). As season 5 had no formal finale, it is not known what happened to the team, or whether they received their "pardon".
I remember it differently. I remember it being a firefight and The A-Team going back into Vietnam.
