What happends to Toby in Pretty Little Liars?

in one of the episodes it looks like Toby did kill himslef.. well at least in the books he does. and the season finale of the show Toby does come back.. but gets arrested for killing ali buyt he didnt kill her.. she wasonly wearing his sweater because it was cold. and he did see ali go into another car still alive..

In the show, Toby was put in the slammer for something he didnt even do. Toby did NOT kill Alison.

But in the book, after Emily Fields told Toby "I know what you did". Emily was implying that he killed Ali, but Toby thought she meant the relationship he had with his stepsister, Jenna Cavanaugh. Toby then ran from Emilys house to the woods, overdosed on pills, and died.

Well in season one Hanna, Aria, Spencer, and Emily think Toby's A. Then, Emily believes he's innocent and goes to homecoming with him instead of Maya. Hanna, Aria, and Spencer weren't happy with Emily. Then, Emily does think Toby's A. She was scared. Turns out he was innocent. Then Spencer becomes his boyfriend. In the last episode before the Halloween Special, A was going to hurt Toby so Spencer had to break up with him. Spencer was upset and Toby was too. he didn't want to let Spencer go. We'll see what happens next in January.

Toby died. He took his own life because jena told everyone that he raped her. He felt there was no point to life because he made so many mistakes and everybody hated him.
