I'm presuming your refering to Darren Shan's Demonata saga? In which case, I know there has been a 'Darren Shan' manga produced, maybe the mangaka will decide to script Demonata aswell? Though as of yet, theres been no word of a manga series being developed. Although there has been rumours of a Fan-Fic Manga series of the Demonata. One that focuses entirely on the story and follows the books, rather than just pictures. However that's still under development.

Manga is read from right to left because it is the traditional Japanese format. Some manga's are from left to right, but most arent because they are drawn that way, and the pictures might get messed up if they are flipped. Like if a sign or something said yam(sorry, first word that came to mind) it would say man if it was flipped to be read from left to right. I hope that helps! :D

The French call it La nouvelle manga or just nouvelle manga
I like manga comic books.
it's because manga is a Japanese word that means "Japanese comics".
The word manga is Japanese, literally meaning "comic." For Americans, manga are comics produced by Japanese artists. Due to this standard, then yes, "manga" as we know it is a product of Japan. There is of course American-made "manga" that imitates the art style of Japanese artists. The word manga is applied to some of these works to be better categorized at a glance by readers looking for material that falls into the manga genre archetypes.
The surname Manga is of Filipino origin. It likely originated as a local or regional name derived from a place in the Philippines called Manga.
