Manga is read from right to left because it is the traditional Japanese format. Some manga's are from left to right, but most arent because they are drawn that way, and the pictures might get messed up if they are flipped. Like if a sign or something said yam(sorry, first word that came to mind) it would say man if it was flipped to be read from left to right. I hope that helps! :D
