SteveIn the books after Edward left Forks Bella found out that by being reckless and stupid for example riding motorbikes meant that she could hear Edwards voice. In the films the same thing happened but she could also see him as well.
Bella also found that Edward kept true to his promise that 'it will be as if I'd never existed'. He hid his CD, pictures and other items that would prove him to be real under her floorboards. However Bella didn't know at the time that he had hidden them there.
