If you're 13 your name is entered twice automatically and so on and so forth. You may enter tesserae if you're starving and you need some food. That'll put your name in the reaping more times. Then, the names are drawn. The girls in one bowl, and the boys in another. The two names of whom are drawn go into the games, unless someone volunteer's. Anyone can volunteer, as long as they are the same gender as the person that was originally reaped and are between the ages of 12 and 18. Whoever was reaped/volunteered goes into the games!
