The final stage of the Sharingan is the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan, the difference between the normal Mangekyou and the Eternal Mangekyou is: that each time you use the normal Mangekyou your eyesight gets worse and worse and you eventually become blind. With the Eternal Mangekyou your eyesight will never fade.

∙ 14y agoActuallly, there are 5 stages of sharingan 1st Tomoe Sharingan 2nd Tomoe Sharingan 3rd Tomoe Sharingan Mangekyo Sharingan (Corrodes vision upon use until the user is blind) Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan (Obtained by transplanting another Mangekyo sharingan into their own. Restores vision and will not affect eyesight upon use.)

The Byakugan is much better because the Sharingan was derived from the Byakugan. That means the Sharingan was CREATED from the Byakugan. Just because the Byakugan can see chakra points, and the Sharingan has heightened skills or abilities, the Byakugan is still better, without the Byakugan, there is no Sharingan.
