What are some problems in the Lord of the Flies?

The original movie was given an 18 certificate because it portrayed violence. The irony being that all of the actors were under 18 and could not watch the movie that they had actually appeared in. Some scenes of nudity and a punishment scene were cut from the movie by the film censors.

the main problem id the power stuggle between Jack and Ralph. They have very different priorites- Ralph wanting rescue and Jack wanting fun. tis results in the breakdown of the order. This is also helped by the fear thet the boys feel for the beast, which pushes them towards the "safer" option of siding with the hunter, Jack

One of the problems is they are not choosing the right choices. Example: Piggy is the smartest one of all and yet isn't the "leader" Ralph is because he is attractive while piggy is short, fat, has glasses, and not very much hair. They should choose their choices wisely. Another one is the shelters for the little'uns ralph is the only one trying to build the shelters while everyone else is out having fun. The next problem is the beastie (the snake-like thing) the little'uns are having nightmares and are afraid at night time because of this beastie.
