Professor Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore dies in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, both the book and the movie. He's killed by Professor Severus Snape with the Avada Kedavra spell after Harry and Dumbledore had been to the cave where they found a Horcrux that turned out to be fake. In Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, it's revealed that the death was planned between the two of them.
Dobby died in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
No, Dean Thomas doesn't die in harry potter. Although many loved characters do: Dumbledore, Dobby, Snape, Fred, Tonks, Lupin, Colin Creevy, George's Ear and many more. RIP
Neither of them do. Dobby, Mad-Eye Moody, Hedwig, and Lord Voldemort die, though.
Dobby does not die in Book 6, he dies in Book 7 while helping Harry, Ron and Hermione escape from Malfoy Manor where they were held captive for a short while and Hermione was tortured by Bellatrix Lestrange. It was Bellatrix who killed Dobby, she tried to kill Harry but she hit Dobby by throwing a dagger at him when he was apparating the three out of there. It hit Dobby instead and Harry buried him at Bill and Fleur's cottage without magic, which Griphook the goblin cannot understand. Griphook the goblin was captured and taken to Malfoy Mannor, with the three, and Dean. Luna and Mr Ollivander the wand maker were already there and had been for a while. Dobby disapparated Luna, Ollivander and Dean first, then returned for Hermione, Ron, Harry and the goblin. Harry insisited on leaving together and not leaving anyone behind. Which the goblin also saw as strange.
Tonks, Lupin, Mad-Eye, Fred, a lot of Death Eaters, Voldemort, Wormtail and a whole bunch of others dobby hedwig lavendar brown bellatrix lesrange The very last "person" to die is Lord Voldemort.
Dobby died in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
Bellatrix kills Dobby with a knife and Harry Potter is very sad-so sad that he digs a grave without using magic.
Dobby was killed when Bellatrix Lestrange threw her silver knife at him as he disapparated from Malfoy Manor. Harry buried him at Shell Cottage.
When Dobby helped Harry Potter and his friends escape from the Malfoy Manor. He died at Shell Cottage, due to Bellatrix Lestrange's knife going through his chest.
End of Part 1 (Chapter 23 of the book.)
Dobby was sent to Malfoy Manor by Aberforth Dumbledore to save Harry Potter. He brought Dean Thomas, Luna Lovegood, Ollivander, and Griphook to Shell Cottage. Then he came back for Harry, Ron, and Hermione. Dobby dropped a chandelier on Bellatrix Lestrange, who threw a knife in his chest. Dobby was still able to bring the Golden Trio to safety, but he didn't survive.
No, he doesn't. There is no Harry Potter 8. There is a Harry Potter 7 book, and two Harry Potter 7 movies, Part one and Part two. He doesn't die in any of them. I don't want to say too much, but he means to die to end the Battle of Hogwarts, and then he sees Dumbledore and Dumbledore explains everything to him in 7 part two and book 7.
sadly,no.dobby does not die Beatrix throws a knife at harry but it hits dobby instead it was a very sad moment but they wrapped a cloth around dobby and buried him and on his tombstone said "here lies dobby a free elf" but i know dobby died happily because he saved harry potter =..( but i know that they all <3 dobby
Yes, he sacrifices himself to save Harry, Ron, & Herimone from the Malfoy manor after they are captured by the snatchers..
Yes, he dies when after he saves Harry, Hermione, Ron, and others from the death eaters. Pretty sad, =(
Dobby does indeed die at Shell Cottage (on the outskirts of Tinworth) when a knife was thrown at him by Bellatrix Lestrange just as He, Harry, Ron, Hermione and Griphook apparated from Malfoy Manor in Wiltshire.
