*Bella doesnt throw herself off the cliff...she is looking for the adrenaline rush that causes her to hear Edwards voice clearly, hence why she tried to talk to the strangers in Port Angeles, rode motorcycles, went looking for the Meadow, when none of that worked she had to step it up my jumping off the cliff. Jake promised to take her but she needed to hear edward that desperately that she did it alone.
