If you listen to the lyrics, it is pretty obvious:

"Hailie I know you miss your mom and I know you miss your dad

Well I'm gone but I'm trying to give you the life that I never had"

"Cause you're scared, I ain't there?

Daddy's with you in your prayers

No more crying, wipe them tears

Daddy's here, no more nightmares

We gon' pull together through it, we gon' do it

Laney uncles crazy, ain't he?

Yeah but he loves you girl and you better know it"

If you don't get it from that, it basically explains what happened. Starting way back from when she was a baby and Eminem and his wife Kim were having marriage problems. All the way up to where Dre signed Eminem and he became successful, and then more marriage problems came.

Try googling the song lyrics and you should have a pretty good idea as none of the lyrics are exactly "hidden". Eminem tends to say things very openly, not hidden deep in some other words.
