No because Jirayia beat 3 paths of pain and Kakashi couldn't handle two even when he had help from others. Kakashi said it was absurd that jirayia took on all six paths for a little time. He said that bacause he had trouble facing the first one he met.

I"ll say that in the begining of Shippuden, that Kakashi is just alittle bit stronger but as Sasuke developes more and attained the Mangekyou Sharingan, that Sasuke is probably stronger than Kakashi at this point.

Not really though Jiraiya have some jutsus that may affect itachi. But jiraiya is a sannin like orochimaru and Itachi is stronger than them. He only asked Kisame to back out because he doesnt wanna hurt konoha. Itachi is not afraid of Jiraiya and could win if they had a serious fight
