I think its when Sakura,Naruto and Sasuke were fighting Orochimaru. And in some frustated moment, Orochimaru quickly bites Sasukes that gave him the CURSE MARK aka MANGEKYO SHARINGAN. They didn't make the episode yet but he gets it and kills Itachi before Itachi pulls out his eyes, but first Itachi transfers all his jutsus he know then drops dead.
At the end of episode 141, it shows Sasuke looking that the sun with his mangekyou sharingan.

Kakashi unlocked the Mangekyo Sharingan barely months after he obtained his Sharingan from Obito.
