The hobbits of the Shire might describe describe Gandalf as wise, powerful, and fun-filled.(Gandalf is over 3000 years old!)
Bilbo Baggins is the real leader in The Hobbit because he does a veritety of things to make him hero like. For example: Bilbo saves the dwarves from the spiders; he goes partway down the tunnel to Smaug even though its Thorin's treasure; and he even brightens the mood when everyone is feeling down before the go after Smaug by telling them that they can do it. Bilbo is the most mature one and that's why I think he deserves the real hero and the actual leader of the quest in The Hobbit.

No, Sauron is. Addendum: This is explicitly stated in Rivendell. After Frodo recovers from his shoulder wound, he is greeted as "the Lord of the Ring" by Pippin. Gandalf, who is also present, immediately rebukes Pippin for using that term and states that the only lord of the ring is Sauron. Frodo might be able to resist the power of the ring, but ultimately, he could never master the One Ring.
If you're referring to the point in the book where the boys say, "Wizard, Wacco!" They're not actually calling the island a wizard. This book was written in 1950's England. Just like in America where we might say, "Awesome, Brilliant!" That's similiar to what they're doing here.
Bilbo Baggins is a well-to-do hobbit* who is respected by many and never dreamed of doing anything adventurous of unexpected. However, his perfect life is suddenly disrupted as Gandalf the wizard thrusts him into the wilderness with thirteen dwarves to find a vast treasure and slay the dragon guarding it. With a surprising amount of luck, Bilbo survives trolls, giant wolves, mysterious elves, and a strange ring, before finally arriving with his companions at the evil mountain wherein lies the treasure, and the dragon! The company awakens the dragon, who flies about the land, and soon elves, men and dwarves are all after the treasure! Will Bilbo's company be able to save the treasure from greedy hands, or be killed in the resulting Battle of Five Armies? Read it and find out!*Hobbit:Hobbits are a small fictional people, shorter that dwarves, who live in a land they call the Shire. They all share a love of peace and quiet, things that grow, and food, and they don't like anything unexpected and dangerous.
That could be Wizard William Walter Wilberforce. Or it might have been Gandalf the Grey.
Hobbits might exist just check out this article: http://www.independent.co.uk/news/science/the-foot-that-may-prove-hobbits-existed-1680405.html
Had Saruman realized that Gandalf bore the Red Ring, he may have taken it from Gandalf.
No, elves do not eat hobbits. Orcs might eat hobbits, but not elves. When the dwarves and Bilbo have a reception at Lord Elrond's home, it is seen that the elves serve them a strictly vegetarian meal. Maybe an indication that Elves are herbivores

Gandalf's word did not make Biblo a burglar. Bilbo became the Company's burglar after he was nominated for the job by Gandalf.

Uh.. Bilbo Baggins, to state the obvious. The thirteen dwarves' names are as follows: Fili, Kili, Bifer, Bofer, Bombur, Gloin, Oin, Dori, Nori, Ori, Dwalin, Balin and Thorin. And then there's Gandalf the Gray Wizard, and Smaug the Great Dragon.
no but they might make one later
Well since it is a WIZARD robe you might want to look in warlic's shops
No, you might be thinking of Alice in Wonderland
There was no record of any problems that had gotten to Gandalf or Elrond. The cave was small and they were able to explore all of it.
