The C.I.L. 950C was made by Savage Arms for Canadian Industries Ltd (who manufactured ammo under the DOMINION label - later C.I.L. label.

The rifle is EXCELLENT. It was a deluxe version of the Savage 110C with custom specs for C.I.L.

Rollover cheek piece stock on NICE walnut with swelled palm rest grips and thumb rest. Checkering is real skip line NOT stamped. Jeweled bolt. Even the short .308 had a full length bolt which could easily be converted to a Magnum cartridge.

Quick release push button drop down box magazine. Pops out in a fraction of a second and re-inserts just as fast. Handy for use on a quad or getting in and out of a vehicle.

Has steel sights with flip down rear sight in event or using a scope without need for removing the rear sight.

My .308 950C shoots 3 shot groups within a nickle at 100 yards and tightens up bit with custom hand-loads.

Sling swivels included.

Rosewood grip caps with ivory insert. Some had rosewood fore end caps.

Less than 300 were made. A collectors' gem and great hunting companion.
