It was in chapter 4 when Roger and Maurice kick down the littluns' sandcastles, afterward Maurice feels bad about it.
Maurice is a bully but he is also a coward. Maurice hasn't got the necessary focus to commit acts of evil on his own but he is more than willing to be led. Maurice is happy to follow the lead of Roger or Jack and actively participate in whatever excesses they devise. Maurice is a 'heavy,' he is a thug who carries out the orders of others but he hasn't got the imagination to think up evil by himself. Maurice is a fox led by wolves.
they were not one direction while being on bootcamp they sang individual songs Harry and Liam - stop crying your heart out (leona lewis) Louis - make you feel my love (have no idea) Niall and Zayn - no records of them sorry
Simon
Roger tramples through the littluns' sandcastles quite deliberately because he enjoys causing pain and suffering to other boys. Roger is a sadist who gets a kick out of being a bully. Maurice follows him because he is also a bully, but unlike Roger he is also a coward. He is happy to follow Roger's lead but lacks the nerve to do things by himself. Even while kicking down the sandcastles Maurice is mentally preparing an excuse in his mind.

If you really mean 'Who are the littluns' then the answer is simply that the littluns are the younger boys aged around six years old or so, some a little older. There is no specific age at which boys cease to be littluns and are counted as biguns. Apparently Simon, Roger and Maurice are in the transition area but they are all counted as biguns and their ages are never stated.
Roger and Maurice have just been relieved of the duty of watching the littluns.
Roger and Maurice destroyed the sand castle out of a desire to exert power and control over the littluns, showing their inclination towards mischief and bullying.

To make a sibling stop crying, you must first find out why they are crying. Are they hurt or upset? Are they looking attention? As soon as you can deteremine the reason for their crying, the sooner you can get them to stop.
you have to pick Sydney up and she will stop crying
During the meeting in chapter 5 the littlun Percival Wemys Madison was asked to tell the assembled boys about the beast. Percival began to cry and once he started he would not stop, then the rest of the littluns began to join him. Maurice distracted them by pretending to fall off the springy log, which the boys called the twister. He clowned badly and rubbed his rump but he made the littluns laugh and as a result they were eventually able to persuade Percival to speak.
Maurice trying to make the littluns laugh shows that he still possesses a sense of innocence and a desire to bring joy to others, despite the dark and chaotic circumstances on the island. It also highlights his ability to connect with the younger boys and provide them with a sense of comfort and camaraderie during challenging times.
Maurice ceased his destruction of the littluns' castle and continued on to the water because he grew bored of destroying the sand castles and found the idea of swimming in the water more appealing at that moment. Additionally, the change in activity could have been influenced by a shift in environmental conditions or social dynamics among the group.
