How can you convince your parents to let you read manga?

Here are some arguments

• Manga teaches you allot about common couture in Japan and Korea.
• It can also teach you short frazes in both languages like titles, names and things like good morning.
• Eventually you will start to pick up on the English translation of both their alphabets.
• You can tell them that if you really like Manga you may eventually want to learn the language and find more about the culture.
• Just go on about about the culture and stuff there are alo some historic mangas that will teach you a bit of history.
• And it still involve a lot of reading
• (For anime) watching anime with subs taught me more Japanese than i learnt all year in Japanese class

Well for starters, everybody has a right to their own personal opinion and nobody should change it! Anime comes in many forms, for children to adults, A recommendation is Pokémon (Which believe it or not, originated in Japan and is anime.) Anime is a style of drawing which was founded in Japan and loved by many Japanese artists and viewers. Anime was loved by other poeple to, such as Americans, Emglish and so on! Anybody can like Anime and a lot if it is child friendly. A good thing about Anime is it is fun for all ages! It's also in a series of "comics" known as Manga. I recommend Sailor Moon. It can also be movies, TV shows and drawings, although drawing anime and manga IS RATHER DIFFICULT, it is fun and looks AMAZING. It is also different.

Explain to them that it's not for children, maybe try to watch some anime with them, prove to them that you will not get obsessed with it.
