Teens should have curfews and it makes them happy [pursuit of happiness] that they get to go out! When I was young, my parents were very strict. They rarely let me "hang" with friends. They always made me stay in my room and study because they just wanted me to get an education. Now teens are going out to parties and having fun when they don't know things were very different before and that they are very lucky.
All I can tell you is that his parents divorced when he was young and he found that quite hard, which is why he wrote the blink-182 song Stay Together For The Kids

So that their parents don't get angry when they aren't home on time.
Then they could stay up all night alone and leave their homes without their parents.
By convincing them you will be safe & not do anything stupid.. Be really good & try to stay on their good side. If your parents are really strict and said No already then you are out of luck.
Until the official curfew time for underage children (usually 10 pm), or until the time set by the child's parents for him to come home.
The curfew for all minors is 11:00 pm. Hope this helps and stay out of trouble. LOL!!
No, consequences are the natural result of an action. Drawbacks are the negative aspects of something. For example, if you stay out past your curfew, the consequences will be whatever punishment your parents have said they'll do if you disobey. The drawbacks of your action would be the negative consequences as well as things like feeling guilty and not learning mature discipline.
I reside in Indiana and have heard about a curfew for kids, but yet to see it enforced. My children have consistently broken it with my permission.
"No, you may not stay out past curfew!", said his mom or There is no way I'll get an A on my report

For minors, the curfew is 11 PM - 5 AM on weekdays and 1 AM - 5 AM on weeknights. So if you're under 18, you could stay out until 1 in the morning on Fridays and Saturdays.
Indianapolis' current curfew law has the following restrictions: The 11 p.m. curfew applies to children 14 and under. 15-, 16- and 17-year olds may stay out until 11 p.m. on weekdays, but are able to stay out Friday and Saturday evenings until 1 a.m. The Indianapolis ordinance also includes a "parental permission exception" allowing a child to stay out after curfew. The curfew law does not apply when children are involved in church or school activities, accompanied by a parent, or guardian or when they are going to and from lawful employment.
Generally not, especially in some municipalities which may have a curfew.
