Teens should have curfews and it makes them happy [pursuit of happiness] that they get to go out! When I was young, my parents were very strict. They rarely let me "hang" with friends. They always made me stay in my room and study because they just wanted me to get an education. Now teens are going out to parties and having fun when they don't know things were very different before and that they are very lucky.
Yes. Because frankly, it would redeuce the crime rate in certain cities. With a curfew most 'teenagers' wouldn't be out so late, getting drunk, smoking, doing drugs, etc. They would be inside and even if they are likely to those things at least they are doing them inside the safety of their own home.
Juvenile curfew laws are typically enacted at the state and local level, and prohibit people of a certain age (usually under 18) from being in public or in a business establishment during certain hours (such as between 11:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.). Goals behind these laws are frequently cited as maintenance of social order, and prevention of juvenile crime.
Curfew
There is no curfew in the UK, nor, I believe, in any European country, nor in the USA or Canada. In fact, I would say that most countries don't have a curfew.
Curfew is usually a very local ordinance; you should contact your local police department for this information. Typically everyone "underage" has the same curfew; it's not broken down by specific ages.
