That was a really stupid answer, the first person who answered, because Kakashi has a sharingan, but he is not related to Tobi or Itachi.
What you should have said, is they are both related as they are both part of the Uchiha clan. But that still doesn't answer the question.
I don't think anyone knows as I don't think it is written in the manga how they are related, but all I know is Madara (Tobi) is realllllllllly old, (He was around the same time as the 1st Hokage) so he's not Itachi's brother or something like that! x
