Danika is a homeless vagabound because she lost her sanity after the car accident where her 3 children die. The movie represents what could have been if her kids lived; in other words, they would have met disaster in there everyday life regardless of how she tried to protect them. Her insanity focuses on the events that lead to the tradgedy - namely her husbands infidelity. . .
Clearly after the death of her children, she is prescibed various medications to help her get through the ordeal, but as usual drugs did not resolve her issues only drove her further from reality and to the ultimate disaster - homelessness the final resting place of the lost and confused.
