Actually, he has shown no affection for either of those girls. In the Manga, Sasuke is shown to have used Chidori Sharp Spear through Karin to try to kill Danzo. (Danzo was choking Karin from behind.)

∙ 10y agoShe definitely cares a lot more about him than Sakura does. Sakura's just "infatuated" to the extremem with Sasuke, since he's her first love and you know what they say, that it's always hard to let go of your first love and the extreme devotion some people have to them. Sasuke has never done anything to prove he loves her more than just a teammate/friend. For most of their time together, and even NOW, Sasuke has found her extremely annoying, clingy, and useless. Sakura does not actually love Sasuke, and neither has Sasuke. He never has.
Karin on the other hand, seems to actually care about him more deeply than Sakura. Karin has actually known Sasuke longer, for one, if you think about it. Sure Sakura knows Sasuke from childhood, but did they ever meet? No. Only when they were formed as a team. Even in a team, Sakura has never been able to understand Sasuke. And they were in a team together for only a couple of months, maybe almost a year. Karin has known Sasuke for 2 1/2-3 years personally, as she had worked with him in Oto under Orochimaru.
Also, Karin and Sasuke have a lot more in common with each other. Their lives are almost similar: Their families were slaughtered when they were young, and they were the sole survivors. They were both taken in and trained by Orochimaru. Karin can relate to Sasuke and understand him a lot more than Sakura ever could. Karin's been there for most of his teenage life, seeing him rise to the "great avenger" that he is today. She can understand his pain for losing his clan, as she had lost her village. She feels connected to him.
Karin also loves Sasuke for who he is inside. It's not just about his hot looks, as many ignorant people believe. In Karin's flashback to the Forest of Death, you see her being attacked by a bear and then out of nowhere Sasuke flies in and saves her, a random stranger. He states that she has the same scroll that he has, so there is no point in dealing with her. Karin puts on her glasses and looks up at him for the very first time, and what does she see?
A smile.
Sasuke. SMILING. AT HER. A random stranger. Why in the hell would he smile down at her, someone he's never met, better yet, his enemy, during the chunnin exams? Obviously Sasuke liked something about her, there's no denying about that, way back when he was still okay and not COMPLETELY revenge obsessed.
In that moment, Karin had seen what Sasuke REALLY is. She knows he isn't really an emotionless heartless guy...he's actually a very kind and sweet person. Remember when he was a kid with little Itachi? That's the real Sasuke, and Karin saw him. After knowing him later on in their teenage years, she started to fall in love with him. Genuinely. She loves who he is inside. That's why she says "I wish I could see that face...one more time...." just beofre Sasuke cruelly-insanely is about to kill her. "That face", referring to the smiling, gentle face she had seen when she first met him.
Despite helping him through his conquest of revenge and what not..all she wants is to see Sasuke happy, to smile like he did once to her.
Sakura is not this deep at all. She's just interested in superficial things. Your question should of been phrased "Does Sakura care about Sasuke as much as Karin does?"
I hope that in the manga they can somehow make-up for Sasuke so cruelly turning on Karin. I really hope they can make up. I hope they don't kill eachother or something. Maybe she can do something during the Naruto vs Sasuke fight? Who knows....

I have read as far as the manga goes online, so up to 478, I believe, and so far no. Karin is watching from the sidelines as usual as Sasuke fights. She tried to help him but got kicked away with no effort. She is proving to not even know how to fight. Sakura, is on her way to where Sasuke is now, so if they did fight it would happen soon but I doubt it will be much of a match if Karin really is as weak as she's being portrayed right now. But who knows.

Nobody knows whether or not either of the couples are going to happen. But I personally like SasuSaku. Answer # 2: I'll say SasuSaku. Karin just has an obsession with Sasuke where it becomes unhealthy. It is so rare and improbable.----------------------------------There's a chance,At least, when they're child Sasuke do care to Sakura and sakura's obviously love Sasuke so much. But, there's a big chance that Sasuke will die at the end of the story so, there's no guarantee. But, if Sasuke don't die and got a girl, the most likely to be his girl is Sakura. About common.....it doesn't effect the chance, but hero with heroin is much more common and more boring -_-
