No, Ranma and Akane never 'officially' get married, but the closest they come to is in the last volume of the manga when they do get ready to do so :). The manga brings more closure with the two characters than the Anime did, so I suggest to read it because of Ranma's final HUGE love confession in the last volume :).
Yes. At the start of the series, they get on another's nerves though Ranma starts to find himself blushing at Akane's beauty, past the tomboy exterior. You see hints of jealousy towards the other through out the series. Ranma has troubles saying it outloud and admitting it to himself, but his actions show he's protective of Akane. Akane's punches to Ranma's face when another girl hugs Ranma says a lot too, haha.
At the end of the manga, Akane agrees to marry Ranma, and they're going to have a wedding, but (as per usual in the Ranma 1/2 story line) there's a big crazy battle and Shampoo, Ukyo, Kodachi, Tatewaki Kuno, and all the suitors for each main character all turn up and interrupt everything. By the end of it all, Ranma and Akane don't actually marry, but they probably will very soon. So technically, no they didn't, but they were going to.
In the anime he doesn't necessarily choose anybody, but in the manga he finally agrees to marry Akane (though that turned into a disaster thanks to Ukyo, Mousse, and Shampoo.) They never actually got married but all in all he choses Akane.

final chapter Ranma & Akane
There were a few instances where she seemed to be more attracted, but I think she likes Ranma for who he is and not what his body does. That's how I view it, but I'll let someone else answer this.Well, I think Akane likes the way Ranma is. It doesn't matter what his body looks like.
Yes. Ranma and Shampoo in Shampoo's Red Thread of Dread and Earth of Shampoo - Episode 13 - Shampoo and Ranma animals friends everywhere! your love life are ever had.
In episode 15, though technically Ranma had met Shampoo in China before when he and his dad was training before coming to the Tendo Dojo but she makes a reappearance in episode 15, looking for Ranma now.
Episode 15.
You can read Ranma and Shampoo fanfiction on websites like FanFiction.net and Archive of Our Own (AO3). These platforms have a wide range of fanfiction stories based on various characters and pairings from the Ranma ½ series.
Shampoo makes a re apparence at the end of the first season, she bursts in the house looking for Ranma. In the manga, Shampoo doesn't appear until Volume 4. So the Anime put her in early, if that helps the confusion. Though. Ranma met her once in China before coming to Nerima being the reason she is hunting him down in the first place.
In the anime he doesn't necessarily choose anybody, but in the manga he finally agrees to marry Akane (though that turned into a disaster thanks to Ukyo, Mousse, and Shampoo.) They never actually got married but all in all he choses Akane.
That sounds like the first episode from the OAV Shampoo's Sudden Switch - The Curse of the Contrary Jewel.
Nope. Ranma and Akane are really the ones who are suppose to be married. In the Manga, Ranma and Akane attempt to get married be it end up in a disaster so they decide to get married later, and that's where the series ends. All and all, Shampoo does NOT marry Ranma.
Unfortunately the Anime series isn't married :P. Just kidding but Ranma isn't wed to anyone.
They come so close but stupid Happosai messes it up!
Episode 68, Titled ""Eureka! The Desperate Move of Desperation"
Yes, Akane is Japanese. Everyone is Japanese except for Cologne and Shampoo who are from the Amazon Tribe in China, along with Mousse.
