I have no idea, but I have a large tattoo and it's pretty seriously infected. I'm a dog groomer so keeping a forearm tattoo clean or dry is simply impossible. The one on my other arm I got about 9 months ago had a smaller but serious infection also. The tattoo I just got a couple of weeks ago that I'm concerned about is infected in several places. I happened to have a tube of Thermazene (brand name for Silver Sulfadiazine) so I've been treating the infection with that, have been using Bactine to clean it after washing it gently and also once a day I use hydrogen peroxide. I use the Thermazine only on the infected areas and then put a small amount of Eucerin on the healing spots to keep it moist. Every tattoo artist has a different answer to taking care of a tattoo which is really frustrating. The infection is mainly on the inside of my wrist where it bends so it's pretty painful. I am off to the store AGAIN to pick up some Neosporin with pain relief cream. Now you just have to make sure you only use one thing at a time and only a small amount and rub it in gently but completely so that it has room to breath. Unfortunately after my 3 day weekend for Christmas, I will need to start covering it at work again with plastic wrap and masking tape. I did that for two days after I got the tattoo since my job is so dirty. The place where the infection is the worst is the place that wasn't fully covered. I can't say if the Thermazine is helping...this seems to be taking a long time to heal. I had left over antibiotics and began taking those two days ago. NOW it's looking a little better. But this infection was so bad that I even have little red bumps in the areas surrounding the tattoo. I'm working on sleeves, and I'm really concerned this will keep happening every time I add to it. I have no health insurance so going to the doctor for infections is not in the cards. But if I ever get one like this again I may have to simply pay for a doctor's appointment and medication. Someday my sleeves will be finished and this will all be a distant memory. Hopefully I'll end up with both my arms still attached and some nice sleeves to show off. I know this wasn't really an ANSWER. I was a nurse for 8 years, and these are the only things I can suggest for caring for open wounds...such as tattoos and infections. Thermazine is mainly used for severe burns and we used it in the medical field. So I assumed it would be helpful with my tattoo infection. That's me professional opinion or theory. I would NOT use it unless it's infected. Just follow the instructions from your tattoo artist for a new tattoo.
No, all you have to do is remaun calm. The only way you can get infected is by tampering with the tattoo.
A tattoo that represents forbidden love is the heart with an infinity symbol through the center. Below the heart are a few drops of blood. You might also use a tattoo with the words 'forbidden love.'
No he didn't. Sam just got her cousin to use temporary ink but give him all the pain of a real tattoo to trick him. And note that in many states, it is illegal to get a tattoo when you are under 18, even with parental permission.
The wrist tattoo is the first symbol of the glyphs for the band 30 Seconds To Mars The Arm tattoo is the Echelon "X" symbol that is part of the band iconography The calf tattoo are Roman arrows The triangle with the line through is the alchemy symbol for Air. I don't know what it holds to Jared other than a use as his band symbol. He also has the latin phrase 'Provehito in altum' which means 'Launch forth into the deep'
It's correct if you use an old Silver Certificate - it's not if you use the a current Federal Reserve Note.
My doctor gave my toddler silver sulfadiazine for a diaper rash and it is the only thing that works when she gets diarrhea and a bad diaper rash. There have been no ill effects.
I am a certified veterinary technician working in a small animal practice and we use silver sulfadiazine cream all of the time. We normally use it on the dogs paw pads when they sustain and injury to them. As always first see your veterinarian if it is not a minor injury!
Can i use jergens on a new tattoo
It is best not to use Aveeno on a new tattoo. If the tattoo is still fresh it is best to use Aquaphor or A&D ointment.
no it is not use antibacterial soap on a new tattoo unscented dial soap that's it
No, silver sulfadiazine is typically used for treating burns, not poison ivy. For poison ivy, it is recommended to use over-the-counter corticosteroid creams or calamine lotion to help reduce itching and inflammation. If the rash is severe or spreading, consult a healthcare professional for appropriate treatment.
Yes, a person can use Hydrocortisone cream on a new tattoo. The recommended amount is 1% and should only be applied if there is severe itching or redness.
Silver Sulfadiazine cream (SSD) is used to help treat wound sepsis in patients that have second and third degree burns to their skin. It is not recommended as a diaper rash cream.
Contrary to what all of my artists have told me...yes you can use axe shower gel on a new tattoo however do not use the detailer loofa just use your fingers and a small amount of lather and gently massage tattoo do not scrub or submerge
Depending on the age of the tatoo. If it is new then the chemicals could smudge or deface the tattoo as well as drying out the skin and messing up the design. If it is a new tattoo then you shouldn't use nair but just shave. Also if is a new tattoo, lotion should be used to keep it moisturized to keep it form peeling and being ruined. if it is an old tattoo then nair will not aaffect it
Yes, however it looks a lot more like yellow then gold to me. Not really. There are no gold or silver(metallic)inks available to use in a tattoo. If there were they would most likely be highly toxic. However, you can find a good artist, who with shading a use of various colors can give the illusion of gold in a tattoo.
You want a good thick lotion once your tattoo has healed. If it is a new tattoo, use an antibiotic ointment or cream to help it heal faster without scarring.
