Yes. In the end of Shadow Souls Damon takes a bouquet of flowers that are magical and turns him into a human again. It's from a magical creature called a Kitsune, it's the only creature that can turn a vampire into a human again. It was men't for Stefan ( Damon's other vampire brother) as a gift for Stefan to Elena (Elena is Stefan's girlfriend for now) so they would be together as humans.
