During the meeting as Jack tries to overthrow Ralph by voting him out, he fails as no one else wants that at the time. However he succeeds eventually as most of the hunters and some other leave Ralph’s group to reunite with Jack. Hence creating a new so called “tribe.” Jack pulls in more boys to his group as he promises to protect them from the beast, provide them with meat and also for them to have fun.
