Well, it depends on how comfident you are and how talented you are. Something for advanced singers might be "Because of you" by Kelly Clarkson. Something that might be easyer is "beautiful" By Christina Agulera. Many Pop songs could work, so just find your favourite and give it a try!

Try one of those huge mix songs with like 15 people in it like "viva la pop" or "blame it on the pop"both by dj earworm

If you do a duet i recomend doing photograph by nickleback. It is a great song about love and its very sweet.

If you are doing a solo and you just got your heart broken i recomend part of me by Katy Perry.

Taylor Swift is good. Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez are good ideas if it has to be like REALLY school appropriate. Stay away from Miley Cyrus, Britney Spears, and Lindsay Lohan or everyone will think you're a tard. Disney stars (minus Miley ansd occasionally Emily Osment) are school appropriate, poke around on you tube or iTunes and find something you relate to. :)

Are you singing? Therefore do something easy vocally but gets the crowd going, make sure you can pull it off well. Jessie J songs are always a big hit! Do something very well known! Anything with a good tune. Here are my suggestions:

Moves Like jagger - Maroon Five

Jessie J - Nobody is perfect.

Adele - Someone like you

Cheyrl Cole - Fight for this love

Whip my hair - Willow Smith

Bruno Mars - Grenade, Just the way you are.

Hope this helped.

If you dancing any of above but the best one, would be Moves Like Jagger, because it is so easy to dance to! Me, I am in theatre school and these are always a hit! Good Luck Girls/Boys! :)

A good song I think is Get It Right by Lea Michele. Also, Rolling In The Deep by Adele, Someone Like You by Adele and Beautiful by Christina Aguilera.
