Well, it depends on how comfident you are and how talented you are. Something for advanced singers might be "Because of you" by Kelly Clarkson. Something that might be easyer is "beautiful" By Christina Agulera. Many Pop songs could work, so just find your favourite and give it a try!
Try one of those huge mix songs with like 15 people in it like "viva la pop" or "blame it on the pop"both by dj earworm
The girl who won our school talent show 2 years ago sang "Hero" by Mariah Carey. Difficult song to sing but when mastered, sounds extremely good! depends how gud ya voice is...catchy up tempo ones are memorable..but ballads tend to win
If you do a duet i recomend doing photograph by nickleback. It is a great song about love and its very sweet.
If you are doing a solo and you just got your heart broken i recomend part of me by Katy Perry.
Taylor Swift is good. Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez are good ideas if it has to be like REALLY school appropriate. Stay away from Miley Cyrus, Britney Spears, and Lindsay Lohan or everyone will think you're a tard. Disney stars (minus Miley ansd occasionally Emily Osment) are school appropriate, poke around on you tube or iTunes and find something you relate to. :)
Are you singing? Therefore do something easy vocally but gets the crowd going, make sure you can pull it off well. Jessie J songs are always a big hit! Do something very well known! Anything with a good tune. Here are my suggestions:
Moves Like jagger - Maroon Five
Jessie J - Nobody is perfect.
Adele - Someone like you
Cheyrl Cole - Fight for this love
Whip my hair - Willow Smith
Bruno Mars - Grenade, Just the way you are.
Hope this helped.
If you dancing any of above but the best one, would be Moves Like Jagger, because it is so easy to dance to! Me, I am in theatre school and these are always a hit! Good Luck Girls/Boys! :)

it depends what kind or music you like. for r&b i suggest Listen by Beyonce or something by Alicia Keys. for pop, try something by Taylor Swift
A good song I think is Get It Right by Lea Michele. Also, Rolling In The Deep by Adele, Someone Like You by Adele and Beautiful by Christina Aguilera.
It's too depressing to sing alone, in the shower, or anywhere else.
Climb Every Mountain from The Sound of Music
one step at a time by jordin sparks or its so hard to say good bye by boyz 2 men
The song was Akshon (Yeah)!
summertime
I think a good song to sing is dynamite.
I think it's "I'd lie"
Sing a song you admire Make sure it is appropriate for you grade level Try to pick something that will show off your vocal range
Try true friend by Hannah Montana.
it still depends on what grade you're in. around fifth grade most kids can memorize a song that they like and will sing it all the time. as long as there is no profanity in the song it shouldn't matter as long as they are having fun.
Anything that gets a crowd going.Taylor Swift, good song that no one knows.
the best song to sing in a talent show is you spin my head right round
I'm in 6th grade and I'm singing "no one" by Acila Keys, you could sing that, but, my friend is singing "fireworks" by Katy Perry.
the best song I think you should sing for the talent show is Crank it up by Ashley Tisdale for sure because it's normal and it is a really cool song too.
blah blah blah
"Listen"
Any song could be good for a talent show. Just make sure it's in your vocal range, (the last thing you want to do is sing a song that you sound bad doing.) Just be comfortable with whatever you sing
