Hi there,
They gave you an opportunity to give them your insurance information and you declined. If the insurance company wrote the estimate it is lower than any shop would write. (Why would they write an inflated estimate? To pay more?)
They have as long as the property damage statute of limitations is in your state, probably at least 2 years or more.
Save yourself some time and money, either pay them out of pocket or turn it in to your insurance company.
My guess is that the file is on the way to their attorney office at this moment. Better make plans for when the summons arrives.

You have 10 days to file a claim with your insurance company.
how long does it take for an insurance company to pay a loss wage claim
You will have to check your home owner's policy. It is a contract that you have with the insurance company and will specify how long you have to file a claim.
If hit a tree and damaged my auto, how long do I have to report it to my insurance company?
An insurance company cannot drop you in the middle of a claim. The state department of insurance sets standards for how long it takes for the insurance company to respond to a claim, and to issue payment once damage is verified. If they have stopped contact with you and have not given you a reason I would contact your state department of insurance and file a complaint.
So long as you can establish the loss occurred during the term of the prior insurance policy, yes they will cover the claim.
You should file your car insurance claim with Geico within 24 hours. You should always call your insurance company as soon as you possibly can.
In most states an insurer has up to 60 days to accept or deny a claim. Save
You will continue to pay insurance premium to renew the policy, irrespective of the claim to be submitted after truck accident.
It all depends on the state the claim is filed. If a state does not have a set amount of time of the company to investigate and make a decision on a claim, they are required to do it in a "reasonable" amount of time, depending on what time of auto claim it is.
I don't know, but they do pay interest on the $$$ from the date of death.
